Documentary “medical: PSYCHEDELICS”
About the Project
“Medical: PSYCHEDELICS” is a documentary that clarifies key concepts and places the topic within the realities of the Polish healthcare system. We follow therapeutic pathways, standards of practice, boundaries of responsibility and the current state of research. The movie features voices of doctors, psychiatrists, therapists, scientists, and people involved in shaping the system - alongside the personal stories of patients.
We tell the story of this world up close and without sensationalism. The movie organizes key concepts and places them within the Polish context - showing what we already know, what we still do not know and how to talk about the subject in a mature and responsible way.
Main Goals
Reliable education - presenting documented facts, areas of consensus, as well as gaps and limitations in knowledge.
Safety and standards - presenting good clinical practices, qualifications, procedures, as well as risks and contraindications.
Bridge between research and practice – discussing what we already know, what we still don’t know and how to responsibly interpret research findings.
Culture of dialogue - a space for critical, substantive discussion without promoting specific treatment methods.
How do we do that?
Raising awareness of the medical context
