We are delighted to introduce another speaker and workshop leader for this year's Sounds of Veritas Festival - Anna Somaia!

During the festival, Anna will present the lecture “Less Stress: The Art of Living Without Hurry” and lead the somatic workshop “SOMA RESET - A Somatic Practice for Releasing Tension and Regenerating the Nervous System”.

We live in a world that constantly encourages action, productivity and remaining in a state of continuous readiness. More and more people experience fatigue, overstimulation and chronic stress, while at the same time finding it difficult to truly rest and regenerate.

During her lecture, Anna will explain why slowing down can be so challenging, how stress affects the body and nervous system and why inner calm is not simply the result of willpower or positive thinking. Participants will learn what the body needs in order to regain a sense of safety, balance and access to its natural energy resources.

The knowledge gained during the lecture can then be explored more deeply in the SOMA RESET workshop. This practice is based on gentle movement, conscious breathing and somatic exercises that help gradually release tension stored in the body while supporting the regulation of the nervous system.

The workshop is open to everyone, regardless of age, fitness level, or previous experience. It offers a space to pause, slow down and experience what true regeneration and a return to greater calm and presence can feel like in practice.

Anna Somaia explores the subjects of stress, health and the relationship between people and their bodies. As a somatic therapist and educator, she helps people find calm in a world filled with haste and constant stimulation. She combines knowledge of the nervous system with practical bodywork experience and inspirations drawn from Eastern traditions.

Her sessions are an invitation to reconnect with the body, emotions and one's inner rhythm. She shows that safety, regeneration and peace are not things that must be achieved, they are qualities that can be gradually restored.
