During another workshop at the Całodobowa Placówka Opiekuńczo-Wychowawcza „Opoka”, the children had the opportunity not only to spend time outdoors, but also to take care of the garden and prepare it for the coming months.

The children sanded wooden boxes and then treated them with linseed oil, which will help protect the wood from weather conditions and ensure that the boxes can serve in the garden for a longer time. There was also plenty to do among the plants. The children supported the tomato plants and removed dry strawberry leaves, learning how to properly care for plants and respond to their needs.

These tasks show that a garden requires regular care and attention, and that the results of our work do not always appear immediately. It is a valuable lesson in patience and responsibility, as well as an opportunity to observe how the shared space changes thanks to the children's own efforts.

The Gardens of Potential workshops are also a time for working together, talking and gaining new experiences. Each meeting gives the children an opportunity to learn something new and see that their work has a real impact on their surroundings. 

Each such meeting is not only an opportunity to learn and work together, but also a space to build relationships, develop independence and discover their own potential.
