Our final workshop of the season as part of the Gardens of Potential project is now behind us! This time, we worked together to build hedgehog houses, preparing safe shelters for the winter.

We met at the Placówka Opiekuńczo-Wychowawcza „Opoka”. We received a helping hand from the father of our volunteer, Agata Pajtasz, who had previously cut the wooden boards and prepared all the pieces for assembly. Thanks to him, we could roll up our sleeves, grab our power drills and assemble the structures ourselves before painting them. Although the weather was not on our side, we didn't let that stop us! We took shelter under a roofed shelter, where we enthusiastically continued working on our hedgehog houses.

The children also had a very special surprise. Batman himself came to visit! He brought along a variety of board games to make the autumn evenings more enjoyable and introduce new ways of spending time together while the garden enters its winter dormancy.

Our final workshop of the season was a wonderful way to round off our shared activities, filled with commitment, teamwork and care for nature.

Thank you to everyone who took part in our activities. See you again when the garden comes back to life!
