As part of the Move Towards the Future social campaign, we bring together physical activity, intergenerational integration and care for the environment. We show that taking action together can be an opportunity not only to look after our health, but also to build relationships and get involved in initiatives that benefit our planet.

This time, we encouraged not only students from primary schools in Wrocław to get moving, but also company employees and seniors. Everyone could choose an activity suited to their abilities and move towards a better future in their own way.

Around 50 employees of the Veritas Group set off at the same time to enjoy being active together. Among them was a group of runners who completed a 5 km route led by Kornel, the organiser of the Cave Bear Run (Bieg Jaskiniowego Niedźwiedzia). The cyclists covered routes of at least 10 km, with some choosing to ride alongside their children. This is a great example of how physical activity can be not only a way to look after our health, but also an opportunity to strengthen family bonds.

Seniors also joined the campaign and went on a 2.5 km walk together. It was an opportunity to get some fresh air, enjoy a conversation and spend time together. Because in Move Towards the Future, every step counts, regardless of age.

Wrocław’s schools also moved towards the future! Three primary schools in Wrocław joined the campaign. Some students followed the prepared walking route plan, while other groups set off with a guide. Their shared efforts translated into tangible results. In total, the students covered 560 km, earned 1,344 points and added the equivalent of 112 trees to the campaign’s tally!

Running, cycling, walking with loved ones or hiking together, each of these activities shows that movement can bring people of different ages and with different needs together. We are delighted that the campaign continues to engage new groups and is becoming an opportunity to take collective action towards a healthier future.
